AKBAR'S RING

Hamayun was the father of emperor akbar who ruled the mughal empire long ago. Hamayun loved his son so much that he gifted a ring to akbar but his father died when akbar was fourteen.Akbar became the next king. Akbar always wore the ring he had givenhim in memory of his father and so the days passed. Akbar woke up one morning very distressed the cause of his greif was the lose of his beloved ring. He decided to find the ring that was worn on his hand in memory of his father by anymeans.Akbar was sure that somone in the palace had taken it. Terefore,He asked all the servants of the palace to reach the royal audience. But none of the palace staff were willing to admit that they taken the ring. Akbar was unable to find the theif and he was sitting in despair when birbal arrived. Moreover, seeing the diisapointment on akbar's face, birbal inquired from him. Emperor Akbar told Birbal about his ring. Birbal also told Him about its value and how dear the ring was to the emperor "Don't worry,I will definitely help you get that ring back" After saying this ,Birbal looked at audience for a moment He told them this The emperors ring was taken by one of our servants. But there is one thing. in whose hand is the ring?. Legends says that he has straw on his chin Hearing this, the people in the audience looked at each other,But birbal was watching them, After somtime,Birbal called the soldiers and asked them to check on one of the group. when the soldiers searched they found the ring from him seeing this, the emperor akbar asked Birbal " How did you know that this is the theif? Was there no stubble in his beard? Hearing akbars question, Birbal said... "Oh lord i am just an archer in the dark. I was sure that the theif was among them. A theif always has a fear inside him. When i told him he had straw rust on his chin, Immedistely Rubbed his chin in fear. But others looked at each other. From that i was convinced that he was the theif." Hearing Birbal's reply Akbar praised Bibal's intelligence and gave him many gifts out of Joy at getting back his beloved Ring. \
