AKBAR'S RING

Hamayun was the father of emperor akbar who ruled the mughal empire long ago. Hamayun loved his son so much that he gifted a ring to akbar but his father died when akbar was fourteen.Akbar became the next king. Akbar always wore the ring he had givenhim in memory of his father and so the days passed. Akbar woke up one morning very distressed the cause of his greif was the lose of his beloved ring. He decided to find the ring that was worn on his hand in memory of his father by anymeans.Akbar was sure that somone in the palace had taken it. THE HONEST WOODCUTTER

ONCE upon a time there was a woodcutter. He and his family lived by cutting firewood from forest and selling it. Every morning the wood cutter would wake up and go to the nearby forest to cut firewood and bring it to the market tosell it, and that was how he got his daily food. One day the woodcutter went to the forest with his axe as usual. There he noticed a broken tree on the bank of the river and he decided to cut the firewood from it.He started cutting the tree but while cutting the tree, the axe slipped from his hand and fell into the river. the woodcutter could not bear the pain and sat down by the river and began to cry. How can i go home with all the axe gone? I come there with my wife and children hungry! Thus he sat by the river and wept so he didint even know the time passed.
